Taunus Strasse is Frankfurt's biggest Red Light District, also known as and Eros Center with Lauf Hauses. Located just across the street from the Main train station, you'll find several blocks of multi story apartments. Look for the red lights and signs "Girls". be prepared to walk up 5-7 stories of floors divided by race and country. Prices range from 20 Euros up, with 50 Euros the average for full service. Take care when walking this area alone in the evening as this is the most dangerous part of town. Along with the dozens of apartments to visit strip clubs, table dance and sex shows are located in the same area. One of the most famous scams is where a man or women convinces you to see their show. You enter the club, are offered drinks and a seat, only to find out later you owe them 500 Euros for a few drinks. A huge bouncer will appear demanding payment. Steer clear of these types of places. The area is best known for the women seated by their doors waiting for guests. Remember to negotiate all acts in complete detail, price, position, kissing and time before entering the room and handing over your hard earned cash.
